25-Year-Old Woman Rescued From Għajn Tuffieħa Sea After Almost Drowning
A 25-year-old woman was rescued from the Għajn Tuffieħa sea earlier today by members from the Malta Red Cross after almost drowning.
The incident occurred just a few moments ago at the Għajn Tuffieħa bay, where responders promptly stepped in to rescue the woman.
Photos sent to Lovin Malta show the moment the woman was brought up to the shore, with a spokesperson for the Malta Red Cross confirming the incident.
The woman is now safe and stable, and she has been taken to Mater Dei Hospital for further monitoring.
Malta Red Cross has tirelessly appealed for the public to know when to swim at which beaches, due to the currents that might prove to be dangerous.
