‘You Give Us Hope’: Transport Malta Officials Rush To Help Mother Get To Hospital, Carry Daughter Into Mater Dei Themselves

Two Transport Malta officials are being applauded as heroes after they did everything in their power to make sure a distressed mother beat a weekend afternoon traffic jam in Paceville, staying with her for the whole trip to Mater Dei and even carrying her daughter straight into the hospital.
“Without any hesitation, they started their car and said, ‘Drive behind us’,” the very grateful mother wrote on Facebook yesterday.
“There was so much traffic that not even their sirens were working, so one of them got out of the car and run up the road to move cars aside one by one until we could drive past. They kept doing it until we got to Mater Dei.”
“When they saw how much in pain and unable to walk my daughter was, they lifted her up and carried her inside themselves,” the mother continued, thanking the two men.
It didn’t take long for the post to go viral, amassing over 3,500 likes in just over 12 hours as many congratulated the officials. Eventually, they both replied to the mother, wishing her daughter a speedy recovery

Both TM Officials responded to the post: It is our duty to help those in need” wrote Chris Zammit. “I was with my colleague Christian Pace.”
A massive kudos to the two Transport Malta officials who, as many people in the comments section put it, really helped us regain some faith in humanity this morning.
