Young Maltese Boy Left Fighting For His Life After Two-Car Collision In Mosta

A 10-year-old boy has been left with serious injuries after two cars collided in a traffic accident on Triq L-Imgarr in Mosta.

The accident happened at around 1p after a Toyota Vitz, driven by a 71-year-old woman from Mellieħa, and a Volkswagen Golf, also driven by a 71-year-old man from Mellieħa, crashed into one another.

Inside the Vitz was a 10-year-old boy was taken to hospital with grievous injuries. His current condition is unknown. The woman was left with slight injuries.

A young girl aged 4, a one-year-old baby, and a 38-year-old woman, all from Canada, along with a 38-year-old Greek man were inside the Golf.

The two men in the Golf were the only ones with injuries, all of which were slight.

Investigations are on-going.
