5 Reasons You Have To Visit The Valletta Waterfront Colour Fest
We’re always looking for different ways to inject a bit of colour into our weekends – even if it’s just to have the best looking social life on your friends’ Instagram feed. Well, Colour Fest is going to be the photo-op of the year. It’s happening at the Valletta Waterfront – easily one of the prettiest spots in the capital thanks to the gorgeous architecture and stunning view of the Grand Harbour.
Oh and the event is also packed with awesome activities you’re not going to want to miss. Here’s five of them.
1. Mingling with super heroes
The Mini Malta Comic Con is back in action at Colour Fest. It’s being organised by Wicked Comics and offering visitors a taste of what the main edition of the Malta Comic Con will be like later in the year. There’ll be everything you’d expect from a full-size Comic Con – cosplay competition, artists and exhibitors, gaming area. So get your comic…on.
2. Sipping on epic colourful cocktails
Spectacular-looking cocktails will be handed out for free (while stock lasts). That’s reason alone to head down there! #XebaFreebs
3. Listening to awesome live music
You’ll be able to enjoy different genres of music throughout the whole weekend ranging from rock to jazz, pop to acoustic and more. Performers will include Paul & Alistair (of Colourblind fame), Vinyl Paradise, Janice Azzopardi, Narrow Lane and Skarlet Trio. Talk about packing a musical punch.
4. Enjoying some good-clean-fun
Giant outdoor games for all ages, balloon modelling, face painting, crafts, colouring, meet & greets with all-time favourite characters, puppet shows, bouncy castles. You’ll just have to make sure to find something to keep the kids busy with…
5. Organic and healthy shopping
You’ll be able to top up your healthy eating pantry with a bunch of organic and fair trade products. You can also cash in on some healthy and ethical living advice while you’re there. #Namaste
