Besides pastizzi, Xarabank and the village festa, is there anything as popular in Malta as Eurovision? Whether you adore it and spend a whole year counting down until it returns or you loathe it (and are constantly telling everyone about just how much you hate it), we’ve all tuned in to more than one edition of the Europe-wide singing contest before.

Now, as the teenage winner of the island’s first season of X Factor gets ready to represent Malta with a low-key banger, we’re willing to bet a whole lot of people are going to be tuning in come 16th May. But what are Michela Pace’s odds currently looking like?

Well, Chameleon is sitting soundly in the top 10 as far as some odds lists go

Well, not bad at all!

As The Netherlands continue to dominate odds lists all over (with Russia and Switzerland tagging behind), Malta has been casually climbing up the ranks, and is currently sitting at #9 on Yobetit.com odds. With a little over a month to go, will the odds continue to climb up for Michela to bring home Malta’s first Eurovision win?

Yobetit is the home of betting, and has now released odds entirely focused on the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest.

Thanks to Yobetit, you’ll have the opportunity to place bets and have your say on who you believe deserves to win this year’s Eurovision song contest. And what better way to be patriotic than to show your support for the young Gozitan superstar-in-the-making?

And at the end of the day, the homegrown Maltese iGaming platform is your go-to place to get betting on the Eurovision this year.

Whether you are interested in which country is more likely to win the Eurovision this year, or if Michela will finish in the top 5 for Malta, there’s more than enough to get you excited for this year’s Eurovision extravaganza.

Malta has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 31 times… and we’ve actually got quite the track record

OK, so we’ve never won the Eurovision, sure. But actually, Malta is the most successful Eurovision entry to never win the contest. Think about it.

Malta has come third twice, with Mary Spiteri (1992) and Chiara (1998), and then second twice, with Ira Losco (2002) and Chiara again (2005). It’s also one of the few countries that has not missed a contest since 1991, and has qualified for the final 8 out of the last 15 times (that is, since 2004).

And if YouTube views are anything to go by, Michela might just kill the competition

Blistering through and gaining hundreds of thousands of views on a weekly basis, Chameleon has shot up not only as far as YouTube in Malta goes (where she still has the #1 on Trending position), but also abroad.

As it stands, Michela Pace’s Eurovision entry is sitting on top of an insane 4.2 million, just 100K short of 2019 favourite Arcade by the Netherlands’ Duncan Laurence.

So what are you waiting for? Place your bets on Michela Pace and let’s see our Chameleon all the way up to the top places in the odds… and the finals!
