In what could very well be the best Halloween promo ever, Burger King stores all around Malta will be offering free whoppers next Tuesday evening. All you have to do to get a free burger is show up dressed as a clown. Simples.

The move will definitely also bring to mind the notorious Pennywise from Stephen King’s It, and the uneasiness that so many people feel when coming across a clown. 

Whoppers will be given out on Tuesday 31st October at all stores around the island from 7pm till closing time. There are over 50 free whoppers available at every store, so get ready to invade our favourite branch with your #ScaryClownNight squad.

This is not the first time that Burger King went out all out for Halloween. Last year, a New York branch in Queens trolled its rival by literally dressing up as “The Ghost of McDonald’s“. This year’s amazing idea, however, will see BK fans from all over the world benefitting from this offer. 

The aptly named tagline for the campaign is, ‘Come dressed as a clown to eat like a King’. You can’t argue with that logic.
