If it’s been a minute since your playlist was filled with My Chemical Romance, Blink 182, Fall Out Boy, Avril Lavigne and the rest of la bella compania, then Pieta’s Rumors is the only place you need to be on Friday night.

2. Start the month off with a cool party

Dasha Rush will be performing at Liquid Club for the third time worldwide. They will be kicking off the event with Covert / U-Jack. This event by Entropy will be kicking off the first event at Liquid for this chilly season. Entrance is at €20 and all artwork will be done by Backslashd.

Prominent talent such as Gary Erskine Chris Le Galle and Hamid Ibrahim will be attending this event.

8. Visit a candle-lit crypt

On Sunday the Church of St. Catherine in Żejtun will be hosting the Zene Quartet in the church’s underground crypt. Since the event will be taking place so close to All Souls’ Day, the mesmerising crypt will be fully lit by candles.

So if you’re into classic music and crypts, this is definitely your must-attend event this weekend.

9. Appreciate some historical artefacts up close and personal

You can visit Bighi’s Conservation Labs this Sunday and look at what goes on behind the scenes at Heritage Malta’s conservation laboratories.

There will be paintings, sculptures, books, textiles, pottery, glass and stone. All objects are being treated and conserved for future generations. There will also be a guided tour every 30 minutes between 10am and 4pm.

Malta’s leading drag performer Tolqueen is here for a one-woman show that’ll have you laughing all night long. One Sweaty Lady will make your sides hurt so much you will suspect an appendicitis attack. But you won’t really get one, don’t worry.

This playful stand-up comedy show is a not-to-be-missed performance by Lovin Malta’s in-house cutie Chucky Bartolo, and there will also be a Saturday show just in case you can’t make it on Sunday.
