Maltese Photographer Stephanie Galea Does It Again And Slays In Her Vogue Italia Editorial

London-based Maltese photographer and visual artist Stephanie Galea has been making waves in the art world and industry by producing remarkable shots – and her latest work featured in a fashion editorial for Vogue Italia proves exactly why.
Galea used Birgu’s iconic religious procession as the backdrop for her artistic storytelling
IMG’s Monica Cima was at the epicentre of the editorial, captured socialising with the members of Birgu’s San Lawrence Band Club and other locals and residents as Galea snapped her beautiful shots.

Galea explained what had inspired her editorial shoot in an Insta post
“Here we meet Hilda, a wealthy Maltese widow, born in the town of Birgu and who has spent her whole life there. Each year, she puts on her best clothes and navigates through the festivities, showing off her best clothing to the other colourful Birgu residents.”

Apart from Stephanie Galea, the editorial team also featured other talented creatives such as Sally Anne Bolton (fashion direction), Eduardo Bravo (hair), Jean Zammit (make-up), Gulja Holland (photography assistant) and Justine Ellul (filming).

Stephanie Galea has previously been associated with major labels like GQ and Dior, so we cannot wait to see where the Maltese photographer goes next!
