‘Giorgia Is Unreal!’: Britain’s Got Talent Judge Heaps Praise On Maltese Singing Prodigy After Stunning Audition

Alesha Dixon has continued heaping praise on 11-year-old Maltese starlet Giorgia Borg after she stunned Malta and the UK during her audition on Britain’s Got Talent last night.
Giorgia’s rendition of ‘Ten’, an original song, was so brilliant that Alesha Dixon ended up pressing her golden buzzer, something which each judge can only utilise once during the audition phase to send their favourite act straight to the semi-final. In fact, Giorgia became the youngest ever solo act to win a golden buzzer.

And Alesha, renowned internationally for her hit ‘Breathe Slow’, had absolutely no regrets.
“I am so excited about my golden buzzer act this year!” she said on Instagram. “Giorgia is unreal! A Super Super talent and Amazing writer at the age of 10!!!!!! I love her!”
Meanwhile, Giorgia said she still cannot believe that she was golden buzzered.
“I am beyond happy! Thank you, Alesha Dixon and everyone who always believed in me,” she said.
The British press also had some great things to say about Giorgia

And closer to home, she also caught the eye of Malta’s political leaders

Amidst all of this furore, it can be easy to forget that Giorgia is still only 11 years old. It’s fair to say that the future seems extremely bright for her!
