Fight Island Just Got Hotter: Robert Abela And Lilu King Make Appearance At Malta’s Biggest Boxing Event
Prime Minister Robert Abela as well as social media personality Lilu King were spotted at Malta’s biggest boxing event to date, Fight Island, last night.
Abela was seen seated at a VIP table in the ringside section of the Fight Island venue, which took place at the Basketball Stadium in Ta’ Qali, and appeared to be enjoying his time there with friends. He also snapped some pictures and captured a couple of videos of a few of the fights he saw.
Mohamed Ali Ahmed Elmushraty, more commonly known as Lilu King, who was granted bail in March 10 months after being arraigned, did not seem to enjoy the atmosphere as much as the Prime Minister did.
The entrepreneur was involved in multiple fights throughout the night, none of them planned and in the ring, though. During the Steve Martin and Scott Dixon fight, Lilu was seen arguing with several security guards and police officers, with many people surrounding him.
Abela had left the event way before this argument broke out.
The dispute continued in another location, with other squabbles having started within the vicinity. Lilu, still arguing with the police officers, was encircled by his close friends, with the guards and officers attempting to calm the situation down.
The reasons behind the dispute are unclear, however, it continued until the end of the event whereby everyone began to evacuate the basketball court.
