Watch: From The Pool To The Classroom – A Day In The Life Of College Swimmer Mya Azzopardi In California

Malta Takes Over the World returns this time with college swimmer Mya Azzopardi who is continuing her academic and swimming career at San José State University in California.

Mya offered a glimpse into her busy day as she starts off with an early morning at 6am with rigorous swim practice before heading off to class.

The athlete offered an inside look at her routine, including moments before a swim meet and her work as a lifeguard, as well as attending college football games.

Azzopardi is a Maltese national record holder with several medals under her belt. Back in 2019 she competed at the 18th Games of the Small States of Europe and also earned the title of Malta’s best youth athlete.

But that’s not all, Mya also has a substantial social media following with almost 50,000 followers on Instagram where she posts snapshots of her adventures.
