Tonight’s episode of X Factor Malta is off to a powerful start, with 15-year-old Shanice Micallef not only managing to impresses the judges, but her getting some of the best feedback we’ve heard this season.

The teenager explained how her biggest fan is actually her nanna, who has consistently pushed her to be better because of her own unfulfilled dream of becoming a singer. And boy did she manage to honour both of their dreams when it came to her time on stage!

From the very first note of her rendition of Matt Maltese’s As The World Caves In, Shanice had the judges completely stunned, as they smiled and shook their heads in disbelief.

“Wow, I think everyone in this hall stopped to listen and look at you,” Ira Losco kicked off the round of incredible judges’ feedback. “For 15 years old, you look very ready for the world of music and I think you can do some very big things.”

“I can’t believe you’re only 15,” Howard Keith told the young girl, still in disbelief. “One of the auditions I will still remember, one of the best this season, my imagination started running wild, and usually when that happens, it’s a personal sign to me. There’s more to your voice. Incredible.”
