Watch: Guess Who’s Back?! Lapes And Nadine Return To X Factor Malta As Mysterious Masked Duo
The last audition of X Factor Malta tonight saw the surprise return of two very well-known names and voices – and in proper fashion for them, it didn’t come without the drama.
The duo had judges intrigued when they walked in all silent and wearing Guy Fawkes masks… but as soon as they both started performing, it was revealed to be the comeback of rapper Lapes and singer Nadine.
This year appearing as a group, the couple kicked into a powerful performance of an original song which saw a number of international artists being called out and set its sights on shadowy conspiratorial groups like The Illuminati.

Never one to hold back, Lapes went in hard in his lyrics, with Nadine’s vocals offering what he himself called “a soft mattress to rest on” in between the scathing and relentless bars.
By the end of the duo’s performance, it perhaps comes as no surprise that the judges were sufficiently impressed to shower them with compliments and the Four Yeses they required to advance to the next stage.
And with Lapes and Nadine now participating together as a group, who knows just how far they can go?!
