One of the most unique X Factor Malta auditions this season saw a 45-year-old engineer take on two completely opposite voices during his audition… and the four judges struggling to keep a straight face for most of the performance.
Passionate Brazilian hopeful Mauricio Sacoda was all smiles ahead of his audition, disarming the judges with his charm and positive attitude.
And the smiles continued all throughout his performance – even if it was because of the judges trying hard not to burst out laughing at his unique dual-voice interpretation of The Prayer.

By the end of his audition, Mauricio failed to secure one secure Yes, with Howard Keith comparing his “mouse” and “lion” voice and Amber saying he should probably stick to his human voice instead… but it was all in good jest as the judges congratulated the contestant and thanked him for coming.
