ADPD’s Sandra Gauci Slams ‘Cowardly Words’ After Online Troll Tells Her To Kill Herself
ADPD’s Sandra Gauci has slammed online haters after she was told to kill herself in a comment on one of her recent videos.
Earlier this morning, Gauci posted a screenshot of a hate comment which was left on one of her posts.
“Poor Sandra, how sad you are. Why don’t you go jump from somewhere, you filth. VFC (Vaffanculo),” the comment read.
“I’ll jump for sure, in the sea though,” Gauci humorously wrote in the caption. “This is a comment under the last video I uploaded. Now I’m used to it after three years.”
“Thank goodness I am a strong woman with strong mental health,” Gauci told Lovin Malta.
“I am sure 100% that these cowardly words would never have been uttered in person but they are symptomatic of how detached people have become to the effect their words might have on people who might be going through some mental health issues,” she said.
“And then you have people urging you on to end it like that suicide attempt in Valletta.”
“Having different opinions and discussing opinions is fine by me. But this is completely criminal,” she stated.
This is far from the first time that Gauci has received such comments, even featuring in a video by Lovin Malta where hate speech experienced by public figures was discussed.
