Benna To Release All-New Butter And Cheeses Ahead Of Major Rebranding
Milk producing company Benna has rolled out a range of new products, including salted and non-salted butter, three types of cheeses, coconut milkshake and lactose-free ricotta.
All the products barring the cheeses will be available from Maltese supermarkets as of tomorrow (Wednesday) morning. The cheeses, branded Tar-Raħħal, will be purchasable within a few months and will come in three different flavours – original, sundried tomatoes and garlic, and black pepper.
Tomorrow will also see the launch of Benna’s rebranded milk cartons, which will now come in polkadot and zigzag designs and with a slightly different logo. All products will also come with a ‘Farmer Owned Quality’ brand as a guarantee for the quality of the milk.
Benna’s chief operating officer Martin Grech said the company decided to rebrand its products because they wanted to give them a modern look to reflect the company’s forward-looking vision.
The new products were launched at the Xara Lodge in Rabat by Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, who used the occasion to hail Benna’s business model.
“Benna defies logic…they are made up of a cooperative of farmers and yet manage to compete with strong, multinational brands,” he said.
