Birgu was stunning last night as candelight took over the medieval city for the annual traditional extravaganza Birgu By Candlelight.  

Residents decorated their houses and the narrow Vittoriosa streets were lined with candles of all forms, creating a magical atmosphere which culminated with a performance by the British Marines unit of the Historical Reenactment Group Malta.
