‘There’s Still So Much That Needs Changing’: Terry Ta’ Bormla Will Run For Local Councillor
Popular social media influencer and previously prominent PN supporter Terry Muscat, affectionately known as Zija TT and Terry Ta’ Bormla, has announced she will be contesting the upcoming local council elections in June.
“I want to be someone to lean on for all Bormla residents and I want to work hard to see Bormla being better than what it already is,” Muscat wrote on social media this afternoon.
“Even though Bormla is already perfect, I need to continue working, because there’s still so much that needs changing,” she went on, proclaiming her love for the harbour town.

“That’s why I’m really going to need your support as an independent candidate this June so that I can work hard for Bormla,” Muscat finished, saying that she would still continue giving her all to the community “whatever happens”.
Beloved for her personal brand of realness and keeping it super Maltese, Muscat made a name for herself in the past years for publicly opening up about a series of dramatic and important events, from being assaulted in her own home to legally becoming a woman in March 2023.
