Planegate Is The Accidental Gift That Malta Needed
This week’s gale-force winds caused chaos around the island, with everything from trees to planes being blown all over the place.
When a plane was blown into a set of nearby offices a few days ago, people were worried – and rightly so.
But when it turned out that no-one had been injured, that it was a British politician’s private jet, and that the now-destroyed offices belonged to Ic-Caqnu, people began to see the funnier side of things.
It was soon after this realisation that the memes began to appear.
