Voter Turnout Estimated To Be 85.5%, Lowest Since Independence
The approximate turnout for Malta’s general election is 85.50%, the lowest since independence.
The Electoral Commission announced the figures earlier this morning. However, an exact turnout figure will only be released once official results are published later today.
District 12 is expected to have the lowest turnout at 78.38%. The highest projected turnout was in the 7th District (88.02%)
